DESCRIPTION:Join us as we welcome Mark Holzer - Manager\, Disaster Risk Reduction & Climate Change Adaptation with the Canadian Red Cross.\n\n\n\nMark will be bringing speaking on businesses being prepared for emergencies.\n\nMark has over 12 years experience serving our communities under the Red Cross emblem. He began his career in Emergency Management with the American Red Cross\, supporting emergencies ranging from house fires to Hurricane Sandy and the Haiti earthquake. Upon returning to Edmonton\, AB in 2018\, Mark joined the Canadian Red Cross as Operations Manager\, Emergency Management.\n\nDuring this time he supported the 2020 Northern Alberta Floods\, and 2023/24 Alberta Wildfires.\n\nMark transitioned to his current role in Disaster Risk Reduction in September 2024 working with individuals\, families and communities be more prepared for emergencies
