Red Deer Arts Council

Suzanne Hermary grew up in Red Deer and loved performing, so she studied music and Theatre Studies at RDC.  She continued her studies at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario graduating with Honours from the Bachelors of Musical Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan.

Suzanne’s love of fine arts, architecture, food, history, culture, music and literature led to her career as a travel agent, helping others to discover new experiences at home and abroad. She has served as a volunteer and board member with both Red Deer Players Society and Central Alberta Theatre.

Red Deer has both a vibrant music community and a theatre community, but somewhere in there she knows there are folks like her who love musical theatre, and she would love to see this art form return more to local stages. She is excited to share her passion for arts and culture with the broader community working with the members of the Red Deer Arts Council.
