2026 Business of the Year Award Nominations Now Open

The Red Deer District Chamber is excited to celebrate the incredible achievements of the local business community at the annual Business of the Year Awards, taking place October 21, 2026.

Nominations for the 2026 awards are now open, recognizing excellence across a wide range of categories that highlight the strength, innovation, and diversity of businesses in Red Deer and area.

The Business of the Year Awards recognize the businesses, leaders, and organizations that help make Red Deer and our region strong,” said Frank Creasey, CEO of the Red Deer District Chamber. “We encourage the community to nominate those demonstrating leadership, innovation, and a commitment to making a positive impact both economically and within our community.”

Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:

  • New Business of the Year
  • Innovation Award
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Large Business of the Year
  • Business Leader of the Year
  • Emerging Business Person of the Year
  • Non-Profit Organization of the Year
This is your opportunity to recognize a business that goes above and beyond whether through outstanding service, community impact, growth, leadership, or innovation.

Community members, customers, and peers are encouraged to submit nominations starting May 12th until July 24th.

The 2026 Business of the Year Awards will be held October 21st at Red Deer Polytechnic Arts Centre, bringing together the region’s business community to celebrate success and achievement.
